Nick Rainwater (He/Him)

I am a Master's-level counseling intern currently completing my Mental Health Counseling training at St. John Fisher College. I am especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those living with chronic illness or disability through affirming, strengths-based care.

I believe therapy should not only support personal healing, but also acknowledge the systemic realities that shape our lives, identities, and mental health. My approach is relational, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own lived experience. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you explore challenges, build on your strengths, and move toward the life you want to create.

Welcome

I strive to bring warmth, humor, and storytelling into the therapeutic space. Together, we can make sense of difficult experiences, explore identity, process life's challenges, and reconnect with resilience. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported as you reclaim your own narrative and move beyond survival toward thriving.
