Are your clinicians licensed?

What makes Inclusive Insights Counseling different?
We believe therapy is both personal and political.
Our work goes beyond symptom reduction — it’s about healing from systemic oppression, reclaiming agency, and cultivating joy.
We intentionally create spaces that center marginalized voices and invite authentic, compassionate connection. -
What if I’ve had a negative experience with therapy before?
That’s valid — and you’re not alone.
We take time to explore what didn’t feel safe or supportive in the past and build a relationship centered on trust, choice, and collaboration.
Your voice leads the process here. Healing happens in relationship, and we’re honored to be part of that journey with you. -
How does telehealth therapy work?
We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform that allows you to meet from your phone, tablet, or computer.

If you’re in immediate danger, please call 988 or 911
For ongoing safety needs, we can collaborate to create a personalized crisis and care plan during sessions and connect you with community supports. -
What does “inclusive” mean in your practice?
“Inclusive” means honoring every part of your identity.
It means affirming your gender, sexuality, culture, ability, spirituality, and lived experience without question or pathologizing.
We view therapy as a space for empowerment, not assimilation — and healing as both personal and collective. -
How do you approach therapy from an anti-oppressive lens?
Our clinicians acknowledge the impact of systemic racism, capitalism, ableism, cisheteronormativity, and colonization on mental health.
We use frameworks that center liberation, body autonomy, and relational safety.
This includes exploring how larger systems affect your sense of self — not just focusing on individual “symptoms.” -
Do you offer letters for gender-affirming care or accommodations?
Yes.
We provide letters for gender-affirming surgery, name/gender marker changes, school or workplace accommodations, and emotional support animals.
We do so without gatekeeping — centering autonomy, informed consent, and affirmation. -
Does Inclusive Insights Counseling help parents and families process when a loved one comes out?
Yes. We frequently support parents, caregivers, and families navigating a loved one’s coming-out process — whether related to gender identity, sexuality, or relationship structure.
Our goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for everyone involved to learn, ask questions, and connect with understanding rather than fear or shame. We help families explore emotions that arise — confusion, grief, love, or uncertainty — while also centering the safety and affirmation of the person who has come out.
